Elissa Diamond-Fields, DC has been studying chiropractic, bodywork and family holistic health care since 1995.

"What I love about this work, is watching the healing capacity of the body everyday, and helping to guide and support in that process. It's amazing to watch function and ease return to the body.

My own long time health quest and dedicated yoga practice deeply affects how I work with my patients. Integrating various chiropractic techniques, myofascial release techniques, breathing, stretching and craniosacral balancing to help guide muscles, tissues and spinal joints back into balance, releasing tension and restoring proper movement and neurological function.

Many of the issues that I see in my adult patients, result from or are made worse by what people are doing with their bodies all day long (ie: sitting at a desk/computer, carrying toddlers, heavy bags, improper shoes, driving, pregnancy growth, etc ... )

Kids and adults alike are recommended to get periodic chiropractic check-ups to ensure proper development and function, particularly if they experience "impact events", carry heavy book-bags, or sit with slumped posture. I spend a lot of lime with my adult patients un-doing all of the compensations that occurred while they were young. Patients are coached on ergonomic solutions, stretches, posture strengthening, nutrition support and small lifestyle changes that go along way support and speed up their care, and promote long term health and function.

Whether infant, toddler, teen, adult, senior or pregnant mom, maintaining a balanced nervous system and flexible structure is vital for proper health, development and long term healthy and functional bodies."

Christopher Grodski is a dedicated practitioner of his heart, following life's flow of his passions, which have lead him along the journey of studying, practicing, and finally living through the ancient wisdoms of Acupuncture , Herbal Medicine, Tai chi-Chuan , Reiki, Sat Nam Rasayan (yog ic healing), and Kundalini Yoga (where lays his deepest gratitude). Chris shares his love for life and deep-seated devotion to our highest self , reflected in both his Acupuncture and Herbal practice, as well as the Kundalini Yogic Experience. In Chris' understand ing, in addition to the benefit that comes with working in a relationship with a therapeutic practitioner as in Acupuncture, it is completely essential that we each have some consistent personal pract ice, as in Yoga, Meditation, Qi Gong and Tai Chi, ideally on a daily basis to keep our physical, mental and spiritual bodies in shape, elevated and continuously expansive.

Christopher began his studies of the human body as a biology major at Norwich University, Military College of Vermont, where he also participated in a significant amount of mountaineering and cold weather rescue work, having him fall in love with Mountains and Nature . Following, after having close, personal and familial exposure to Chinese medicine , he took up its studies at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago. For the next 4 years Christopher studied Traditiona l Chinese Medicine and graduated with experience treating a large patient diversity, includ ing clinical experience at Project Vida, an HIV clinic for minorities.

After graduation Christopher became State Licensed and Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, in which he then began a private Chinese medical practice in Southampton, NY in 2010. During time spent in private practice in NY, he also apprenticed with Mikal Gohring, L.Ac., a practitioner of 30 years and student of Jeffrey Yuen, to whom he owes his spiritual awaken ing in the realm of Acupuncture.

In addition, Christopher has been blessed to have undergone the Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in DC as taught by Yogi Bhajan, and Instructor level Tai Chi Chuan in Chicago.

Currently, Christopher practices Chinese Medicine in Huntington, NY and here in Stamford, CT, where he continues to help people through his Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine practice, as well as, Public and Private Teachings. He uses Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Moxibustion, Massage, Reiki and Yogic and Meditation Techniques to treat people for a wide variety of ailments as well as general health, well-being and balancing.
