Elissa Diamond-Fields, DC, CACCP has been studying chiropractic, bodywork and family holistic health care since 1995.

"What I love about this work, is watching the healing capacity of the body everyday, and helping to guide and support in that process. It's amazing to watch function and ease return to the body as the nervous system reorganizes.

My own long time health quest and dedicated yoga practice deeply affect how I work with my patients. Integrating various chiropractic techniques, myofascial release techniques, breathing, stretching and craniosacral balancing to help guide muscles, tissues and spinal joints back into balance, releasing tension and restoring proper movement and neurological function.

Many of the issues that I see in my adult patients, result from or are made worse by what people are doing with their bodies all day long (ie: sitting at a desk/computer, carrying toddlers, heavy bags, improper shoes, driving, pregnancy growth, etc ... ).

Kids are recommended to have chiropractic check-ups as well to ensure proper development and function, particularly if they experience "impact events", carry heavy book-bags, sit with slumped posture, or appear to have tension in their body or behavior. I spend a lot of lime with my adult patients helping them to unwind all of the compensations and traumas that have occurred over their lifetime. Patients are coached on ergonomic solutions, stretches, posture strengthening, nutrition support and self care changes that go along way to support and speed up their care, and promote long term health and function.

Whether infant, toddler, teen, adult, senior, pregnant mom or athlete, maintaining a balanced nervous system and flexible structure is vital for proper health, development and long term healthy and functional bodies."
